Bandit
Neato Bandito is a super sweet, snuggly boy, ONCE he takes his time to warm up to you. He's not a big fan of strangers, but gets along great with dogs and cats. Small children are a bit much for him.
Boogie Woogie
Boogie is a 4 month old pit puppy who loves to play and give kisses. He’s good with other dogs and cats
Cupcake
Cupcake is an absolutely gorgeous Pyrenees/Lab mix, about 1 year old. She is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped and ready for her forever home. She was previously tied out in a yard, so she's shy at first, but worth the extra patience.
Widget
Widget is a 4 year old Frenchie/pit mix. She does well with other dogs and loooooves people. She has the cutest little tongue that peeks out sometimes even when her mouth is closed. She loves to stick right next to her foster mama all the time. She’s an absolute dollface. She does well with dogs and cats and is housetrained and up to date on everything.

Patrick
Patrick is an Akita mix Precious Patrick was found dumped out in the country with his lady friend. Her condition was too severe for transport so she is being cared for by the amazing Lake Charles Pit Bull Rescue. Patrick is sweet as can be, fixed and heartworm negative! If you and your buddy need a buddy, he’s the perfect friend. He loves to stick right by your side and bond with another dog. Bc
Penny
Penny is a senior pit and was at an open intake shelter about to be euthanized, but we could not let her! We think she's 9-10 years old, she is being treated for mange and heartworms and receiving regular medicated baths and coconut oil rubdowns in addition to oral meds. She is 100% housetrained and good with other dogs. She would love a foster or forever home.
Jackie Chan
Jackie Chan was found roaming the streets in Kenner. He’s very anxious about being away from his family but he has no chip and we’ve been unable to locate them. He appears to be a 6-7 month old pit puppy. He’s house trained and does well with dogs and cats. He loves to play but most of all loves to snuggle up with his person.
Clover
Sweet little mini lab Clover, likes other dogs mostly wants her own person to snuggle with.
Rider
Rider is one of last of the catahoula mix litter. He is a playful, sweet and loves kids and other dogs.
Prince Vince
Vincie is a 7-8 year old male Pekingese. He is housetrained, and good with dogs, cats, and kids. Neutered and up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative.
Hershey
Hershey is a very handsome, 2 year old pit mix. He was adopted from us as a puppy, returned, then adopted and returned once more. He is housetrained and crate trained. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, come, paw, wait, and lay down. He also knows “leave it” and “drop it”. Hershey loves chew toys and being loved on.
Hershey walks well on a leash after his initial excitement of being outside subsides. He LOVES going on car rides! Hershey is a beautiful and smart alpha dog. He requires an alpha owner who will commit to his training. We have an amazing trainer that has worked with him.
We will require whomever adopts him to continue his training. When Hershey has a strong leader to rely on, he is happy and secure. When he doesn’t, he feels the need to lash out. Hershey needs a home without children, cats, or dogs. We know the right home is out there for Hershey. Please share his information and help us find it.

Myra - "Pet me with your eyes"
She is very social, as long as you don't actually want to touch her. She'll run up to you, tail in the air, as if she wants some TLC, but reach your hand out to touch her, and she'll duck just a millimeter out of your reach. She is hilarious.

Sassafrass
Sassafrass is a 4yr old female Great Pyrenees. Good with dogs and cats. This girl has oodles of personality, and needs a very strong willed adopter.
She has been through extensive training and should continue. She needs a home with no small children, and no chickens.

Bolt
Bolt was adopted from us over a year ago, and has lived a happy life with his family. Through no fault of his own, they have to rehome him and break his little heart yet another time.
This sweet happy baby has no idea why his life is being turned upside down AGAIN, and desperately needs a forever home.

Sam
Meet Sam. He is a street kitty turned perfect gentleman. 3-4 years old. Despite his rugged background, he is very calm, gentle and respectful- not to mention handsome- a perfect 10! Sam loves nothing more than snuggling up near his human and chasing his toys. He also loves staring out the window, but has no regrets about putting the street life behind him. Sam gets along well with other cats (with gradual introductions) but is perfectly content without them.
Lady
Lady is a 9 year old front declawed kitty to who needs a quiet, calm home to call her own. She could likely acclimate to one other calm quiet kitty.

Niko and Mya
(Bonded Pair)
Mya and Niko are two bonded huskies that are around 2 and 3 years old. They are housetrained, know basic commands, and are also kennel trained. They are both spayed, neutered, and heartworm negative.
They love going for walks and lounging around on the couch.
Mya is a super sweet girl that would do best in a home without children. She can be a bit anxious and needs to feel safe. She likes being near adults that she trusts and LOVES belly rubs! Like a typical husky, Mya can be a vocal when she wants something 😂.
Niko is one of the most laid back dogs you will come across. He rarely barks...except when he hears the ice cream truck, then you'll hear him speak up. He loves sunbathing outside and snuggling up on the recliner.
Both of these beautiful babies are extremely smart and like most huskies can be quite the escape artists. A fenced in yard is a must! Niko has a high prey drive for small animals. They have done ok around other dogs but slow introductions are so important for these two.

We think he’s probably about ten months old. No lasting damage from his leg being wrapped when he was tied to a pole on the levee.
He is now fixed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and tested heartworm negative. He’s making great progress with housetraining and “sit”.
He’s living in the laundry room because we don’t have space. Does someone want to take this dude home? Foster or adoption. He deserves a much better life than what he’s had so far.

Gandalf
Gandalf is a senior Pyrenees male. He does fine with dogs and cats, but does like to spend most of his time quietly lounging.
He was dumped on the side of the road in Lafourche parish, we though he had to have been lost, but he has no microchip and no one came forward for him, even after we contacted all of the area vets.
He is fixed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and just looking for a foster or adopter to help him live out his golden years in peace and affection.

Gracie
Grace is the beautiful sweet mama of our “The Boys” litter. She was the BEST mama, she loved nurturing and playing with babies. Her pups have all been adopted, she has been spayed and is undergoing slow-kill heartworm treatment.
Gracie is a tough sell because she is not 100% comfortable with people, and she is a fence jumper. She likes to hang out with us when we go into her yard, but only to take treats or be close to us and the other dogs. When we’ve had to catch her to take her to the vet it’s been difficult, however once she is caught she is never aggressive, just kind of defeated.

Davey
Meet Davy! Davy is the sweetest baby you’ll ever meet with a fascinating story and he’s available for adoption!
He is from Saipan, a small island near Guam with thousands of stray dogs. There is no vet on-island, which means with no spay and neuter surgeries, these dogs just keep repopulating. For the first time in YEARS, a local non-profit was able to fly over dogs to the mainland US — so here Davy is!
He’s a sweet, loving boy who is comfortable around all people, children, and most pets. He loves walks and all he really wants is attention and to lay in your lap. He is fully house trained and crate trained.
He is HW positive, but has no symptoms and is undergoing treatment. He is fully up to date on all of his vaccines.

He is a neutered 11 year old male tuxedo cat. He was all four declawed before I got him and he is up to date on shots.
He was surrendered to his vet clinic because v his order didn’t want to deal with his special diet.
Bb does have Struvites (a type of bladder crystal) and has to stay on a strict prescription diet. Currently feeding him Purina UR wet food.
BB used to live with an older declawed male cat and we were told they were great together, however he hates my female cats ( aged 4 and 5 ) so unsure if a home with other cats is a good fit but recommend against it.
He likes dogs, especially big calmer dogs, we've tested him with others and hyper dogs he's pretty nervous for a while but does eventually come out of his shell.
Bb loves all people young or old, he doesn't care as long as they give him belly rubs.
He loves toys such as his stuffed snake but plays with any kicker toys and any string like toy.
When Bb first comes home he is very shy and will hide (We think he hid for almost a week before really coming out on his own) but once he is out of his shell he will greet any person with his loudest meow of hello when he sees them.

Louie is one of the last catahoula mix litter Handsome and sweet, he does well with kids, cats and dogs.
Mila
Meet Mila, a two year old, beautiful Pointer mix (~35lbs). Mila is fully house trained and is working on her leash walking skills. While she is not kennel trained she has shown no interest in chewing on furniture or tearing up her living space and can be left unattended in a house or apartment for short periods of time. Her favorite activities include chasing lizards down the sidewalk as well as lazy Sunday snuggles. She is an affectionate girl and prefers to sleep as close to her human as possible in their bed. Mila has been known to sleep in well past noon if you let her; she is definitely not an early riser. Mila is currently learning some basic commands and is turning out to be a very bright pup! She is great with people of any age, but not so great with cats or other dogs – she will do best as the only pet in the house.
