Confidential Foster Network
When families face crisis, their pets are often the first to lose safety.
Some disappear overnight due to immigration enforcement.
Some are leaving dangerous homes.
Some simply have nowhere safe to go.
These are often not unwanted animals.
We provide confidential foster homes so they don’t end up abandoned, in shelters, or worse.
But we can only help if we have somewhere for them to go.
👉 If you are in the New Orleans area, you can be that place.
About
Our Confidential Foster Network provides safe, temporary homes for pets whose owners are facing crisis.
This includes:
-
Immigration detention or deportation
-
Domestic violence situations
-
Emergency displacement or instability
In many cases, fostering is what allows someone to leave a dangerous or unstable situation.
Our goal whenever possible is to reunite pets with their families.

What does fostering look like?
Fostering does not have to be overwhelming.
-
Many placements are short-term, often 2–4 weeks
-
Some are just a few days in emergencies
-
Many pets are already house-trained and well cared for
-
Some may need a little extra patience, but we will guide you
You are not signing up forever, you are giving a pet a safe place during a difficult moment.
What if I'm nervous?
That’s completely normal.
We are here to support you.
-
We cover veterinary care
-
We can provide food, crates, and supplies needed
-
We help match you with a pet that fits your home
-
If it’s not the right fit, we will move the animal
-
You are never stuck, you are not doing this alone.
Recent Success Story

A small dog we named Heinz was found after his family disappeared during immigration enforcement. He was clearly loved, house-trained, and well cared for.
A foster stepped in. Within a week, he was safe and adopted. This is how quickly things can change when we have somewhere for them to go.
