Our rescue is run by volunteer time, sweat, tears, and laughter. Below are the faces and names of the main Rrrrescue Team. There are more people than would fit on this page and we are furever grateful for their continued support of rescuing animals in need.
Maria
Founder & COO
Maria is a foster parent, adopter, transporter, and our Founder and COO. She has helped thousands of pets in her 15 yrs of shelter and rescue work.
Amanda
Development Director
From events to adoption coordination she helps with a little bit of everything. She teaches yoga when she's not trying to get other people to volunteer.
Gianna
Networking Director
Gianna is a volunteer, advocate, foster parent and our volunteer Networking Director. She volunteers so she can pet all the sweet, furry babies.
Sarah
Volunteer Director
Sarah is a foster, and adopter. Vet Tech herself, she is instrumental in greeting transports and training her fosters to be forever companions.
Lisa
Creator of the Founder
The creator of the founder, she was instrumental in the creation of the rescue and is a vital part of the everyday operations, especially cuddles.
Kat
Puppy Adoption Director
Kat is a foster parent, adopter, puppy expert, and transporter. Her favorite past time is receiving Happy Tail updates.
Shane
Jr Volunteer Coordinator
Shane is not only a jack of all trades volunteer, he is also a foster parent and resident small dog expert - though there's no dog that doesn't adore him.
