We’re so happy you’re here with us, thank you for joining us on our journey to save abandoned/unwanted companion animals in Louisiana. Each little life is precious to us, and our mission is to take animals into foster homes, get them healthy, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and to find them loving forever homes. We are a volunteer based organization and we run completely on donations.

Nutmeg
Nutmeg was found roaming the streets, pregnant and bony.  Her puppies have all found homes, and thankfully, she has adopters that are willing to spoil her for life as well. We are so thankful for the donations that came in to assist in covering her vet care for her and her litter, and now we are asking for assistance to cover her $350 heartworm treatment.
Poppyseed
Poppyseed! She came to us from New Iberia. We brought her in for a routine spay; turned out she had a hydrometra, and having her spayed as soon as we did saved her a world of trouble. She had a longish road to recovery, but after being babied by her foster moms she was finally ready for adoption. She is also heartworm positive, and is still showing signs after the slow kill treatment so will have more treatments - remaining cost $400.
Frank
Frank was dumped on our director's front porch, with no records, scared, barely moving, intact, and full of parasites. He is on his way to making a full recovery, and has already found a furever home that will be continuing his heartworm treatment.

These are our current pets in need of extra treatment. To make a donation specifically for their treatment, add the pet's name to your donation; they will be furever thankful.
